Receptionist – Burgess Hill
£10.77 – £12.31 per hour
Part Time position (10-15hrs p/w)
Based in Burgess Hill, West Sussex

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Flex Physiotherapy team. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic receptionist to join the team. The aim of our clinic is to deliver gold standard care to our patients. The entire patient journey is important from first contact through to discharge.
The successful candidate will have good organisational and time management skills and a willingness to learn and develop. The main duties will be to take call, book appointments and take payments, however there may be scope to take on additional administrative responsibilities if the successful applicant was keen to do so.
Education to NVQ Level 3, Certificate of Higher Education and/ or equivalent experience would be an advantage.
You should:
- Able to show understanding of issues relating to equal opportunities
- Be able and willing to work flexible hours including Saturdays
- Be able to communicate effectively face to face and on the telephone with a range of people in a range of situations
- Have an excellent telephone manner and manage calls in a professional way
- Possess good listening skills with an ability to maintain focus
- Be able to plan and organise your own work effectively
- Have initiative, high standards and a high attention to detail
- Previous experience of customer care or similar service industry practices and
- Intermediate level use of Word, Excel, and basic access skills is essential
Desirable qualities include:
- Previous experience in an administrative role
- Previous experience of working with a professional team
- Previous experience of complying with patient confidentiality and Data Protection requirements
- Previous experience of patient administration systems and/or appointment booking systems
- Previous experience of dealing with upset or difficult patients by telephone
- Fast and accurate keyboard skills to RSA III or equivalent

Flex Physiotherapy is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Sports Massage Therapist to join the team, delivering gold standard care to our patients. We will support you in your clinical journey and offer CPD support and comprehensive learning and development opportunities.
With a highly experienced team and an emphasis on developing a learning culture, this could be right for you. Our vision is to build a gold standard clinic and education facility and we will mentor the successful candidate in their clinical journey in order to aid their development to align with their yearly objectives. We also envisage as part of in house CPD that the successful candidate will also be able to share their expertise with their clinical colleagues. Our new clinic boasts 4 clinic rooms and a large rehabilitation area.
Candidates will hold a minimum of a level 3 Sports Massage qualification or equivalent. Evidence of ongoing learning is also desirable. We would prefer candidates to have at least 2 year of experience but we may be flexible on this requirement for the right candidate. The key thing is a desire to learn and develop clinically. You should have good organisational and time management skills.
£22,000-26,000 pro rata depending on experience. Minimum of 15 hours per week with scope to increase.
