Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Mairead is a friendly and dedicated physiotherapist with a real passion for helping people move better and feel stronger. She holds an MSc in Physiotherapy and a BSc Hons in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation, giving her a strong foundation in both injury management and performance focused rehabilitation.
Her background includes working in community healthcare within the NHS, four years working within the Harlequins Academy development programme supporting young athletes, and gaining international experience in the Canadian healthcare system. She has worked with a wide range of clients, from active individuals and gym goers to young athletes, and understands that no two injuries, or people, are the same. Mairead takes a calm, supportive and practical approach, focusing on clear explanations, realistic goals and building confidence alongside physical recovery.
Mairead enjoys working closely with her clients to help them get back to the activities that matter most, whether that is sport, running around after the kids, or simply moving without pain.
Outside of work, Mairead loves staying active herself. You will often find her running, in the gym, or trying out new sports and creative hobbies. Her own enjoyment of movement gives her a genuine appreciation for how important it is to feel strong and capable in your body.
Special interests include musculoskeletal physiotherapy, sports injury rehabilitation and paediatrics.
